Mentoring

Guidance that holds you accountable.

John mentors young people — and men building direction — through life skills, leadership, decision-making, career development, athletics, and personal accountability. In person in Indianapolis, or virtual from anywhere.

What Mentoring Covers

Six areas. One standard.

Direction
Getting clear on where you're going and what actually moves you toward it — school, career, athletics, or life.
Decision-making
Learning to make choices you can stand on: weighing consequences, resisting pressure, and owning outcomes.
Discipline
Building routines and standards that hold up when motivation doesn't.
Leadership
Carrying yourself in a way people can follow — at home, on a team, and in the community.
Accountability
Regular, honest check-ins. Progress gets measured, not assumed.
Character
Who you are when nobody's grading you. The foundation everything else sits on.

Who it's for

Middle school through college-age young people, student-athletes, and men who want structure, honesty, and a consistent presence in their corner. Parents and guardians are welcome in the conversation from day one.

In person

One-on-one mentoring in the Indianapolis area.

Virtual

Video sessions for mentees anywhere in the country.

Mentoring is guidance and accountability — not therapy, counseling, or clinical treatment. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact a licensed professional or call/text 988.
